Although it can be difficult to develop a routine, exercise works wonders on our physical and emotional well being. With motivation, the right plan, and consistency, attaining one’s fitness and wellness goals are possible.”
What Kolon’s clients say about him:
“I took Kolon’s session on knee rehab yesterday. I can’t compliment him too much on his presentation and the attention he paid to the session’s participants.
Kolon is knowledgeable and precise when conveying the details of exercises and extremely attentive in spotting and correcting misalignment. He has a calm and confident manner that combines with a natural warmth when working with the session’s participants. He was respectful of the range of abilities/disabilities presented at the session and tailored the exercises accordingly.
I was impressed with the session. If I am diligent in following his advice, I hope one day to be able to sit on the floor and get up again. We all have our dreams .”

“Kolon has been my personal trainer since 2015. He took a leave of absence from Rock Creek Sports Club to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Howard University. Upon his return and after COVID we re-connected and have been meeting twice weekly ever since.
Kolon has helped me become stronger by lifting more weights than I ever knew existed. He has developed exercises to strengthen my core, flatten the stomach, and reduce those ugly love handles. Building upper body strength has also been a priority. As a senior citizen, Kolon has incorporated balancing and coordination exercises into my program to help me reduce the probability of falling.
In spite of my constant whining about how difficult all of those exercises were, when I shared with Kolon I had been diagnosed with osteopenia in my spine and osteoporosis in my left hip, he took charge, ignored my complaints and reminded me that his goal was to get me healthy.
After 2 years of a grueling program, the results of my 2024 DEXA scan test showed a 100% improvement. I have nothing but praise for Kolon. He is knowledgeable, knows what he is doing, does it well and is the consummate professional. I think he works hard to make a difference in the lives of ALL of his clients. What more can you ask for from your trainer? As far as I am concerned, Kolon has checked all the boxes. ”
