Sharon is the Fitness and Operations Manager at Rock Creek Sports Club. She is certified as a personal trainer by National Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA), Pilates trained through Balanced Body and has over 20 years of fitness experience. Previous athletic experience includes track, softball and competitive bodybuilding. Sharon’s philosophy is live life in the balance. She has a BS in Computer Science from Florida State University and is mom to 4 children.

“What makes Sharon unique as a trainer is her flexibility and her ability to design original workouts tailored to my goals and abilities. I have an old neck injury and am therefore restricted in certain movements. I’ve had trainers in the past either be unable to work around it or question the legitimacy of the pain it causes. Sharon, on the other hand, simply listens to me and, when necessary, will come with an alternative exercise that targets the same muscle group. By doing this, she has helped me decrease my neck pain while building muscle. Similarly, when I was pregnant, she was able to adapt our workouts accordingly so I could continue training and stay fit during my pregnancy. I’m convinced the workouts I did with Sharon contributed to having a healthy pregnancy, quick labor, and easy recovery after having my daughter. Now, I’m working with Sharon to try and get into peak physical shape and, once again, she’s been able to adjust my workouts to that goal. I’m currently seeing great physical results, have more energy, and feel stronger overall. Sharon also has an upbeat personality, optimistic attitude, and witty sense of humor that make her a pleasure to train with.
