Akosua Akoto

    A professional dancer from a young age, Akosua’s introduction to the mechanisms of the human body began in high school with the inspiration to assist professional dancers in excelling beyond the many injuries that would ultimately end their careers before they began. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine, a masters in Human Performance and Rehabilitation, has extensive experience as a physical therapy technician, and has worked with orthopedists in post surgery rehab. Akosua is an international dancer/ choreographer and owns one of the first African dance fitness programs which now operates internationally with several different training modalities and personal training services. Akosua believes in putting the body before the workout and trains everyone from seniors to professional athletes according to a progressive program tailored to the individual’s unique physical makeup, adaptations, lifestyle, and preferences.
