Brian is an ACE-certified personal trainer, originally from the Bronx, NY. While he holds a Bachelor’s in English from the University of Virginia, he has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years.
In Brian’s words: “Athlete turned college couch potato turned gym rat. Growing up I played every sport you can think of, focusing on basketball and baseball in high school. Unfortunately college sideline my sports ambitions and introduced me to a sedentary lifestyle. That is when the lbs’ packed on quickly. It was my personal journey to move from couch potato back to athlete that lead me to become an ACE certified Personal Trainer.
In my 12+ years of training experience, I’ve noticed that the hardest thing for most people (myself included) when trying to get in shape is not only making the time to get to the gym, but also being able to workout long enough to make changes to their body. Because of this, I focus my training around supersets and circuit training in order to maximize the amount of work you can do in the time you have.
I’ve trained a variety of age groups and fitness levels. My goal is to make every training session fun and challenging. Whether in a one on one session or in small groups. Safety and proper form come first! Strength, endurance and body composition increases will soon follow. But first, you’ve got to get up and move. More importantly, get up and move till you are out of breath, recover, then repeat. With proper form and mind/body connection, your body can accomplish amazing things.”
