What is Spinning?

Spinning is a type of indoor cycling class. Sessions are led by certified instructors and usually last about an hour. Cycling classes are great for cardiovascular workouts as well as building and strengthening muscle. The duration of activity will build stamina and increase your endurance while the speed at which you pedal will improve the strength of your lower body. In a more advanced spin class, instructors might have you stand; this will improve your ability to balance which leads to stronger core muscles and ultimately a better posture.

How we do Spinning

Start with Beginning Cycle at Rock Creek and get a great light cardio work out while learning the basics of Indoor Cycling. This once a month clinic will review proper form and posture. Join us for Monday Spin and our Spin, Scultp N’ Stretch classes designed to increase heart rate levels and give a great overall workout. For the cycle enthusiasts, we offer a challenging Spin Class that gives you an aerobic and an anaerobic workout.
